Temperature and relative humidity loggers

Our EnvLogger system now includes a model that records both temperature and relative humidity simultaneously. Built around a high-performance Bosch sensor, this version offers improved accuracy and a wider measurement range compared to our earlier humidity logger, which used a Texas Instruments sensor.

Like our temperature-only models, these loggers use wireless Near Field Communication (NFC) to connect with your smartphone. Simply use our free App and "tap" the logger with your phone to configure settings or downoald data.

Companion App

EnvLoggers communicate via a dedicated App, freely available for Android and iOS smartphones. On your smartphone, go to the Android's PlayStore or to the iOS App Store and download the App EnvLogger Viewer. If your smartphone is incompatible, the App will not appear in the store. Keep the App updated to benefit from new features.

Encapsulation

TH 3.0 loggers are encapsulated in a hard acrylic resin and protected with a double layer of Tyvek®. They can be produced in a variety of colours or shades of grey, depending on the needs of your project.

Readily available formats

Deployment

These EnvLoggers can record temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C and relative humidity levels between 0% and 100%. However, prolonged exposure to extreme conditions — particularly sustained high humidity or temperature — can lead to permanent damage.

To accurately measure humidity, the top of the logger includes a small orifice that allows ambient water vapor to reach the sensor. Unlike our fully sealed temperature-only models, this design makes the temperature and humidity loggers more susceptible to moisture-related damage.

To help reduce this risk, the opening is protected by a double-layer Tyvek® membrane. This material is permeable to water vapor but impermeable to liquid water. Despite this protection, it is important to avoid prolonged exposure to liquid water, and these loggers should never be deployed in areas that are prone to flooding or submersion.

Loggers can be fixed in place using adhesive or mounted with a 3D-printed support bracket. Contact us for more information.

Citizen science

With the dedicated smartphone app, logger servicing is rapid and easy. This, in turn, facilitates the establishment and maintenance of large networks of loggers serviced by multiple scientists and/or citizens.
